TIPS FOR DESIGNING EFFECTIVE SIGNS, BANNERS AND POSTERS
The function of a sign, banner or poster is to effectively convey a clear message. With the correct graphic design, your message viewed quickly from a distance will be easily understood and remembered. Here are a few important graphic design tips:
1. Always use full color graphics. Vibrant colors attract attention. They help to make your message or logo distinctive and memorable. But keep in mind overloading your sign with bright colors might make it hard to read.
2. Use easily understood but distinctive fonts. A unique typestyle helps to reinforce brand recognition.
3. Use clear, concise wording. Make your message simple and easily understood in one glance. Include basic contact information such as a phone number or website. Muddled or lengthy messages are not easily comprehended.
